Jorg van den Hoven
As the founder, CEO & Creative Director of Orange Branding, Mr. Jorg van den Hoven has over 20 years of experience in business, government diplomacy, innovation strategy and brand design, as well as exceptional sense in entrepreneurship.
In 1998, Mr. Jorg van den Hoven established his first design team in Amsterdam which was the basis for his current companies Orange Branding and Orange Branding Investment in China, The Netherlands & Hong Kong. In 2005 he relocated his headquarters to China, Wuxi and Shanghai, where he ran a 1,000 people factory in electronic gadgets and items. Since 2007 he works permanently from Guangzhou.
With over 11 years strategy and business experience in China, Orange Branding is uniquely positioned as business strategy consultancy for branding and innovation, as well as creative design agency from product innovation to “Omni-retail” or “new-retail” to create premium and luxury brands for Chinese enterprises in Europe and the USA.
In 2016, Orange Branding partnered with Dasym Investment Strategies as China expert. Dasym is an investment company of a famous Dutch entrepreneur linked to media, technology and entertainment. Dasym is famous in China for owning the “Voice of China”, and selling the concept to over 60 countries. They are also known for movies like “Skip Trace” with Fan Bingbing and Jacky Chan.

He is national of The Netherlands, holds degrees in Industrial design (BSc) and innovation management (MSc) from the Delft University of Technology in Holland. Additionally, he attended the best art academy in the Netherlands “Gerrit Rietveld Academy of Art”, and studied a MBA from the Lingnan/MIT program at the Sun Yat Sen University in GuangzhouFrom 2015, Jorg has also started to prepare his PHD with professors in Milano, Delft, Beijing, Shanghai and Hong Kong on brand strategy and design management for Chinese enterprises that want to grow their brands in Europe and the USA. He is also frequently giving lectures, teaches in EMBA programs in Shanghai, and gives workshops in branding for government organisations and associations in China.
